Women's Super Cup: Hasaacas fall to FC Savannah, miss out on final

Hasaacas Ladies missed out on a place in the final of the 2026 Women's Super following their defeat to FC Savannah in their final group game.

The Hasmal Ladies suffered a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of the Northern Zone side as they condemned Hasaacas to their first defeat of the tournament.

Hasaacas came into the fixture knowing only a win was enough to finish top of Group A, while Savannah were assured of a top-place finish with at least a point.

Both teams drew in their second game of the tournament after claiming all three points in their openers.

Savannah started the game the stronger side, as they took the lead after seven minutes following a poor play from the Hasaacas defence.

They doubled the lead two minutes into the break before a fast break in the middle of the second half saw them score their third.

With defeat to Savannah in the final group game, Hasaacas finished second in Group A, beating Jonina Ladies to the position on head-to-head rules.

Hasaacas Ladies will now face Army Ladies, who finished second in Group B, in an attempt to claim a bronze medal on Monday, September 28.
