Women's Super Cup: Defeat to Army Ladies as Hasaacas finish fourth

Hasaacas Ladies missed out on a podium finish at the 2026 Women's Super Cup after a defeat to Army Ladies.

The Takoradi-based side faced Army in the third-place playoff game on Monday evening, looking to reclaim the bronze medal.

However, Raymond Fenny's side lost on penalties after the game had ended 2-2 in 90 minutes at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

Comfort Owusu opened the scoring for Hasaacas in the fourth minute of the game, but the Accra-based side crawled back into the game before taking the lead.

With 10 minutes until full time, Hasaacas levelled the score after Grace Ntsiful forced an own goal.

When the game headed to penalties, Ntsiful, Comfort and Christabel Arthur all missed their takes, while Veronica Baah Kumah and Belinda Kpoglo scored, and Army converted three of their kicks.
