Report: Hasaacas Ladies 1-0 Jonina Ladies
· Lawrence Baidoo

Cecilia Acquah scored the winner for Hasaacas Ladies in the league game against Jonina Ladies on matchday two of the 2026/27 GoldFields Women's Premier League.
The Hasmal Ladies came up against Jonina, hoping to make it back-to-back wins in the league following last weekend's defeat against Army Ladies.
Raymond Fenny made no change to the starting lineup that defeated Army, with Cecilia keeping her place in the team ahead of Jennifer Awuku.
The ladies battled hard in a fractious game as they claimed a 1-0 victory to record a first league victory at home against Jonina since the latter got promoted to the Ghanaian top flight.
We created enough chances in the opening 25 minutes of the game, but the decision-making in the final third of the pitch meant our opener was delayed.
However, Grace Ntsiful played through Cecilia on goal on the left side of our attack with the summer signing clipping the ball over the onrushing Jonina goalkeeper to open the scoring in the 38th minute.
Hasaacas continued dominating other departments of the game but were unable to add to their lead as they went into the break with a one-goal lead.
After the break, Jonina grew into the game and created a few chances, but they were never threatening.
Milot Pokuaa, Grace Ntsiful and Rashida Ekpa came close to adding to our lead, but their efforts were pushed away by the opposition's goalkeeper to keep the score at 1-0.
Despite a spirited attempt in the dying minutes of the game, Jonina were unable to draw level as we picked up all three points on matchday two.
We will now turn our attention to the next league game against Epiphany Warriors in Accra next weekend.
