Report: Ampem Darkoa Ladies 0-1 Hasaacas Ladies
· Lawrence Baidoo
Milot Pokuaa's only goal of the game secured Hasaacas Ladies the Champion of Champions trophy against Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Otumfour Astro Turf.
The Hasmal Ladies battled hard in a fractious opening 45 minutes, matching Ampem Darkoa's intensity and energy.
We might have opened the scoring through Miot or Veronica Baah Kumah in the early minutes of the game but fumbled our lines with the final decision-making.
The only disappointment on the day was what looked like an injury to Jennifer Awuku in the latter stages of the first half, who was then replaced by Cecilia Acquah.
As satisfying as the trophy win was, it was the first clean sheet for the club since the 1-0 win over Jonina Ladies in the first game of the 2026 Women's Super Cup.
After a shaky start to the game, Hasaacas settled well and began to create chances of their own while limiting Ampem Darkoa's threat.
They had to, however, wait until the 61st minute to break the deadlock.
Milot started the move with a pass into the path of Comfort Owusu. She held onto the ball before returning the pass to Milot, who beat the goalkeeper from close range to give Hasaacas the lead.
The team now turns attention to the start of the 2026/27 Women's Premier League season with the first game against Army Ladies on Saturday.
